I HAVE A PROBLEM

OK so here goes.

I have a ZE but its the newer style one.

I took my K8 ECU into a computer repair shop to get the Probinator chip installed into said K8 ECU.

The guys at the shop ended up wrecking my ECU causing it to no longer start the car period.

A NEW K8 ECU is now being sent to me and a new Probinator Chip as well.

But I have been told that it will be a month at least before I can get the ECU and then I still need the chip installed

So while I am waiting I will need my car. So i have a KL 07 ECU that lets the car run but it seems to have an odd power band, it seems to hesitate until about 5300 rpm then it surges with alot of power up until red line if i take it that high.

Is there a way i can correct this at all or should i just wait it out until, i get all the other things i need??

You need a kl01 vaf to match that ecu... the car will run a lot better...

your je50 maf will not work proper with the klde ecu...

and I hope you didn't buy a new k8 ecu... that would be some major $$$...

i can get u a k8 ecu easily. There are some barely stripped mx's in the junkyard by my place and they all still have theri ecu's. i will have time this weekend. If you really need one send me a pm or just reply to this message.

I once ran a Probe ECU with a JE-50 vaf with my ZE... big no no.
Was just as you described and run horribly at low rpms. Almost seem like it would hesitate on me. So either get a DE MAF or find a spare K8 ECU while you wait.

I always mix up maf and vaf.. I should get it tatooted to my hand or something..

lol im not paying for a thing lol but the place that fried my ECU is haha
