burning smoke

i just got done replaceing my headgaskit . i fired it up for the first time today and it smoked when i reved it up . the smoke was gray white when i whent to the tail pipe to small it to find out what it was the smoke burned my eyes and nose i turned it off and looked in my book " no help there " but i remaber someone a time ago saying unburnt fuel will do that any help would but great

why did you change the gasket, was it blown, did it overheat and did you drive it like that, its posible that your head is warped it so you may need a new or used one or even machine it.

i just bot the car and it had sat for 3 years . it was burning oil from the velve seals . when the head was sent in it was cleaned new seals allarond and checked for any prob. i know that the smoke is not oil. or coolent
