I'm assuming its a high pitched whine that increases in volume as you accelrate. 2 ways to fix it, run rcas down the oppsite side of the car that the power wire is on or buy a really really good set of shielded twisted pair rca cables.
For reference i run my RCA's next to a battery bank with 2 1/0 gauge wires right next to them and no whine noise. My rca's cost through my sponsor was in the $90 range. They retail for over $200

Why do you have your system up to it's limit? Either you are deaf, have your gains improperly set, or you don't have an amp (but i'm guessing if thats the case you have aftermarket speakers and the head unit can't drive them).

Ok run the cables down the opposite side of the car that your power wire is on.
Or buy a better set of cables

Get a pair of quality rca's, If all else fails, you can also get a noise filter. I got a pair from Radio Shack, that just plugs into your rca's, it works miracles.

I used to have a problem with high pitched noise and I got bigger power wire(4 gauge) and it fixed the problem. Also running your rca's down one side and the power wire down the other is recommended... Make sure your ground is right on the metal (scrape off paint if you need to).

I had a high pitched wine that was audible when the deck was off and faceplate wasn't even on.
I put a new amp and fuse in. Did the trick haha...
