Road Grime

Anybody have any idea on getting road grime off rims, mine are so bad and i bought 3 diferent prododt ans still no good? ANY HELP??? THANKS

Stock wheels? Take a pic and post it up. If they are stock I bet the wheels have no clear coat left on them and the grime will stick better to the raw aluminum. I would use some steel wool, maybe something like a Brillo pad, if the clear is gone. One of the MOCA guys has stock rims that are bare from years of dirty rims eating the clear. He cleans them with a brillo now and they come clean, but are pretty prone to get brake dust stuck all over them from not having any protection.

A solvent like kerosene will dissolve the road grime. Can't guarantee if it's good for the finish though.
