HIGHLY-SKILLED STUDENTS NATIONAL HONOURS: Five high school students from the Halton District School Board qualified for the recent national skills competition in Saskatchewan. Four of them travelled to west for the contest with three coming home with medals. Left to right, Adam Bochek, 18, a Grade 12 student at M.M. Robinson High School, won a gold medal in the auto service technician competition. R.J. Mousinho, 18, from Robert Bateman H.S. won silver in the restaurant services event while Jesse Lamb, 18, also of Robert Bateman, took bronze in the auto collision repair category. More than 550 students, including some in college or university, competed in the 13th annual national skills competition, held June 6-9 in Saskatoon. Bochek bested nine other competitors in his category. His tasks included electrical troubleshooting, engine rebuilding, brake work and a written theory test. He said he may return to Bateman in the fall but is hoping to land an apprenticeship. Some of the restaurant services tasks required of Mousinho were producing appealing looking shrimp cocktails, making mixed drinks, floral arrangement and napkin folding. She is going to George Brown College in Toronto for ballet. Lamb was one of seven competitors in his category. His tasks included bumper and rocker panel repairs and fixing a dented door. He is going back to Bateman this fall.

EDIT: newspaper writers are teh gay, they clearly say i go to MM Robinson High School, but then continue to say i might be RETURNING to Bateman... WTF?
