Putting fenders back is really confusing

Post by Juans_93_MX3 »

I am trying to put on one of my fenders back on my MX3. The problem is, that it dosent get back on straight. Ether there is too much of a gap between the door and fender or it just wont look straight

Anyone want to give me advice on putting fenders back on?

first I would attach the fender near the door by bolting down the topmost bolt just to keep it stable - try to get it aligned as best as possible then secure the bolt in the middle of the fender and make sure it is lined up... then the bottom under the fender... it is a real pain but the only thing is that all of the holes are a little bit adjustable so you may have to go up and work with the top 2 bolts again... once you think you have it right, close the door and see if it look like the middle indent is lined up correct on the door and fender and see if the spacing looks ok - you don't want it too close to the door...

then just work you way towards the headlight from there... don't forget there is a bolt that goes up underneath right behind the headlight!

I would recommend having your wheel off to do this!

hope this helps - good luck!
