Hey sup guys, I"m curious how much most of your mx3's weigh.
Mine has been stripped right down inside to nothing but the seats and the carpet and it weighed in at 2,552 lbs.
It'd be interesting to know if stripping it down made any difference in the weight.

well with you having a six point roll cage and the sub probably cancelled out some of the weight you stripped from the interior...

yea, probably haha, i'd put most of it on the roll cage cuz the sub only weighs maybe 8 lbs as its an infinity self powered sub inside a little plastic case. It's good enough til I get my fiberglass setup done, lol.

I agree even just a little bit of weight removed makes the car feel faster (and it probably is)... I took out my rear seat, my system (4 12" subs in a custom box) and the spare tire, then I swapped my 17" rims for some lightweight 14"...

wow what a difference!!!

I got mine down to 2200 lbs with removing everything from the 2 front seats behind and A/C and power steering.

BP is a little bigger block,crank,rods,pistons.... so i'd imagine it's another 20-30lbs...

i have an RS 5spd with a bp swap and a stripped interior...

The interior from the front seats back i'd say weighs about 40-60lbs....max....

.2 lbs  That is like saying "I'm 5'6" and a quarter"- why bother? lol
less than 115 lbs is tiny for a guy. Do you have a growth problem or something?

I never thought about the weight of the driver... that makes sense though...I weigh 155... If I weighed 200 that would be like having a rear interior LOL
