okay, first of all i have done a search on this topic, although it was kinda choppy and was so old, missing the pictures (which would really help me). I have converted my automatic 1.6l to a manual. Im pretty near being finished and I just needed to know what the white plug on the side of the tranny (towards the front of the car) goes to? thanks

Its either the clutch safety switch or the reverse lights switch. Connect an ohm meter to it.. then put the transmission in reverse.. if the resistance drops to zero.. its the reverse lights switch.
