How much do you think it is worth?

I have a 1993 Mx-3 that has a rebuilt motor (approx 65000 miles) but has 182000 on the body. It has been repainted and the body looks really nice and I get alot of compliments on it all the time. It has the 1.8lt v-6 5 speed combo with rare black leather interior. It has power windows, short throw shifter, aftermarket shift knob, new low profile tires, new kyb struts from and rear, new brakes including cross drilled rotors front and rear, an aftermarket cd stereo (paid $500 for that), aftermarket exhaust. It even has the truck area cover (repaired of course... lol). I have roughly 3800$ in to it. It runs 100% but I am thinking of selling it to help put money down on a house. Please let me know if you would like some pics for a quick guess-timate. Thanks, Vinny

Usually these cars are worth around 1500 to 2000. a klze mx3 is worth around 3000 - 4000. I havent seen the ones priced at 5000 sell because you can get a far more superior car for that price. Price depreciation sucks. My klze mx3 is only worth around 3000.

most people off of kbb.com id check your local auto trader magazines to see how much people selling cars for. You might be easily getting 4K for that car depending how clean it is and how much is done to it, maintenance records, etc.

It definitely depends where you live.

Around here, dealers are selling auto RSs for 7000.... But thats a complete rip off. I bought my SE for 4600 and it is in very good condition with 230k on it.

Seems like most MX-3s here tend to go for between 3000-4000.

yeah, it totally depends on where you live. Here, if it's not smogged, it's not worth much. Mods aren't worth anything. You would get 2k for your car here in California. Just because there are alot of V6's going for less, and people don't know/care about fixing up Mx-3's.

Don't forget that no matter what you have done to your car it is still 14 years old

why don't you look up the blue book on it?
