can someone please look at this video i took of the fuel rail?
(it's a small video, less than 1 megabyte (731 kb))

http://africadrilling.com/misc/injectors_.html

i've lifted it out to see if the injectors were spraying (the car won't start). It's a 1.8 ltr kia (don't hit me, it's my wife's car), the spray doesn't look consistant, so i'm trying to rule out what to change next, i've changed the fuel filter already...

i know if any forum could help diagnose this prob it would be this forum...

would the pressure regulator cause the inconsistant misting?

Thanks in advance you guys...

1st thing: Seafoam...Get a can and put the whole thing in like a 1/2 to 1/4 tank of gas..then drive the piss outa it for like 100-200km...

2nd: if that doesn't work then from what i'm seeing..The injector is fkt or a bad wire connection...

Put a 12volt test light on the injectors and make sure it's firing every time the light comes on...

If it's not...then it's beyond me..?

ta da!!!

finally figured out what it was, for some reason my wife's kia won't burn pure ethanol (the everclear on the right)
well, it's not pure ethanol i'm guessing ~80%, heh heh, i was tempted to take a sip...
just kidding...
