I recently got a 92 MX-3 GS and my one friend has a 93 Sentra SE-R with ACT stage 1 clutch, fidanza flywheel, header, and exhaust. I know I ain't gonna be able to beat him stock but him and I were questioning how the SE-R comparts to the GS. However haven't been able to test it cuz I'm still working on getting my GS on the road(replacing clutch and broken shift fork next weekend). Any opinions?

Stock vs. Stock the SE-R will win by a very small margin in a straight. Its ends up being a drivers race with average everyday drivers behind the wheels. The MX is 130hp and the SE-R is 140hp, barely a difference but I believe the SE-R has a limited slip differential (not 100% sure though) to help out on launches.

I think the se -r with those mods will beat a k8 mx3. A klze mx3 spancs even the spec v sentras.

Yeah the SE-R's had VLSD up til 97 I think. Stock vs Stock I'm pretty sure I would get him but with the mods he has he's gotten some kick out of it. I rode with him once when he played around a little with a K20 powered RSX and he was pretty close and the RSX had a few things done too. I guess only time will tell. First I gotta get my trans right and then we'll find out after I break in the new clutch and do a full tune up
