My car starts now:)

So most know my mx3 hasn't moved in 3months because my other ZE took a s--- on me. Well it finally runs. Here are some pics from saturday.

Heres the motor when I first brang it home.me and Ian started to switch the intake manifold over and prepare it for the mx3.

Look how clean this thing is inside. Its eitehr got like under 20k on it or whoever had it changed the oil weekly.lol

Heres me after swapping my fidanza and act clutch on it. Its about to go in, just doing some final touches to it. I love this pic btw.

Thanks to Ian,Krish,Duncan and Deb for all the help, we had that thing out pretty quick aside from that axle issue.

Holy hell thats clean! Well done on the swap. How many hours did it take you all in all? Looks like a job well done. One question tho,

were DID you get that engine from?

Good find on the motor. Hopefully it lasts a whole lot longer this time. You Canooks have got to find a better way to rust proof metal. I'd die if my engine bay had that much rust... :wink:

the swap took from about 2pm after we found a hoist....to technically around 9:30 - 10pm
but in that time we stopped to eat, we stopped to attempt to remove an axle (and broke a breaker bar in the process...that was impressive), and dropped the hoist on krish's head :D
it was a nice relaxed pace...good thing the snow waited, otherwise the open garage woulda been a bit harder to work in

Great engine man, I have never seen something so beautiful. now the question is where did u get it from? i hope it lasts you longer than your older one. great job man, good luck.

HEY what did you use to fill the mount?? liquid nails? are they stiff?

fack man that engine is clean. i wish you more luck then i had with my previous engines.

the engine came from tiger japanese in toronto, ontario
