neutral safety switch

hello everyone. I was wondering how much would a Neutral safety switch will cost me. i live in NJ. Some mechanic told me it was the starter, but it wasn't. i ended up buying apiece for nothing. now i have to get the NSS. any help would be appreciated.<BR>have a good one.
