http://www.engineworldusa.com)
Water pump
timing belt
Distributor
Altenator
Fuel Filter
Oil Filter
What else am I missing as far as engine parts go?
I also notice there are serveral KLZE ECUs and VAFs, which are the best combo?

hey man
if i was doin the swap id get the 3 idlers for the timing belt as well, and some new spark plugs. Other than that you should be good to go. The best ecu are kl31 or 36 combined with the je50 vaf from the mx3.

you don't need a nw distributor. Just us the on from teh k8 maybe get a new cap and rotor though. Same with alternator..use k8 one
what about clutch, you can't use a k8 one it will slip as soon as u rev past 4k. at least get an oem pgt one or an aftermarket one.

If you are going to use the stock ECU.. then go with a KL-02 VAF. Also, you will need to swap over the pipe with the coolant sensors.. again with stock ECU setup.
If you can score some Mazdaspeed engine mounts, it was be a nice upgrade.

Were just talking about engine parts here. I already plan on buying a SPEC 2 clutch and already have headers.
I got Ebay headers which are the exact same design of HotShots or SS AutoChromes
I am also looking into getting a MagnaFlow Muffler or a Borla, MagnaFlow Resonator and probably a High Flow Cat from Magnaflow
Already have a CAI

Hey how about gaskets. I know there are suppose to be some gaskets I should replace
And what about Valve Springs?
I know the KLDE springs are the strongest. Is it hard to change valve springs?
And one last thing, Curved neck right?

You can use a JE50 VAF also, the stock k8 VAF.

I tried taking apart the valve-train, but, I couldn't find the right valve-spring compressor. The auto-parts places have them, but, they are not designed for our inset valve-springs that are depressed into the HLA cylinder. Anyone know what to use or where to get the right tool?
