Front Bumper Lights

I have a problem fitting on the stock front bumper lights from my oem bumper onto 2 after market front bumpers now... mp5 as well as the mazdaspeed bumpers... I got em' from pakfiefer tuning but i thought that the front bumper lights should bolt right in.... but when i put it in just to measure where to drill that one screw ... it doesn't all go in... I am wondering if there is any special cutting i need to do to the bumper itself ... it should go through no problem after all the websites logo is got the mazdaspeed one too...
i'll try to get a pic if i can and put it up to show u that it's not really fitting in from the other side where there is no screw closer to the middle as oppose to the side of the car...
