Hey, there was a guy in loops, but he has sold the car. I am in vernon and the sole ZE'er around lol. There are some other guys, but they do not go on the board.

Kevin, (Ovendnk on the boards) was in Kamloops from Ontario... not sure if he's still there though. It may have just been in the summer for work.

He had a pretty pimped ride... complete custom interior.

My engine is in and waiting for KL31 ecu. What did you do with your EGR and did you bother to connect up the solenoids for EGR?

EGR came out. Just left all that crap. Threw out all that vaccum stuff that was on the old aribox. Connect the FPR to the IM.

I was the guy in Kamloops with a KLZE MX3. I wasnt the first person in Kamloops to run a KLZE however, there is a Probe GT turbocharged with a KLZE in Kamloops. I was the first MX3 KLZE though :P

When I come into Kamloops next I'd like to check out your car. Are you on Intencity?

I have installed the KLZE with MS8 curved manifold, KL31 ecu, new disty, timing belt, phenolic spacers, water pump and disconnected EGR and solenoids. Having a problem with fuel injectors. Have good spark but do not seem to be getting fuel. Fuel pressure is good but injector voltage seems low and not firing. Cleaned up ground wires, checked timing, spark etc. Suspect bad fuel rail or wiring problem. Anyone out there have similar problem?

Not that I know of, try posting in the v6 forums to see what they say about that. How are the plugs that go into the fuel rail? Is your FPR hooked up correctly?

Sounds like a pretty good set up.
I also had the MS8 Intake and the same ECU. I disconnected and removed all the EGR from my car, charcoal cannister.
Would definitely like to see your car.

ive had this same problem on 2 mx3's, turned out both times it was the wiring harness going into the ecu, the pins were loose. on one car i would loose one injector, on the other i would loose all six or they would just piss out a ton of fuel.

Plug in to fuel rail seems good. Getting mechanic to have a look at wiring to trace the problem. I turn ignition on to start engine and noticed the radiator fan still runs after trying to start (key still on) . Do you know if this is common? Sound like a wiring problem?

Found the problem. Partial ground inside plug connection going up to heat sink near firewall. Repaired connection and motor is running like a top. Had been checking all ground connections and noticed small burn mark on plug connection. This partial grounding would not let ECU fire injectors. Disconnected all EGR plugs, removed two solenoids, EGR and plugged EGR connection to exhaust manifold. Set up timing to 10 degrees and the idle to 750 rpm.
Zoom Zoom, this engine runs smooth and pull allot harder than the stock 1.8. The difference is outstanding. Will be taking car up north (St. John)for a few months so if anyone sees the bright yellow MX3, take a look.

Just an FYI but the MS8 intake is the Straight neck intake, not curved. You probably have an intake from a Xedos9, Eunos800, or Millenia. Those are all curved neck intakes with square runners.
