head gasket and bent frame.. Screwed?

Ok, so I purchased this car, get it checked and then I find out the head gasket is blown and the frame is bent among other things.. But these seem to be the main issues. I hear head gaskets are expensive to repair and a cracked frame renders the car unsuitable to certification? Any ideas what the heck I can do? Should I attempt to fix the head gasket and try my best to get the frame good as possible, or try to sell the car to somebody. I spent 1 thousand on this car and I'm hoping I can get at least some of my money back if possible. As a last resort... I can always sell her off for parts and make some cash back. Ideas? Fix or sell? Any help would be GREATLTY appreciated!

They said it was bent near the roof or the front.. either one. I got it for a thousand bucks from that #*&@# .. Does parting out a car usually make a decent amount of cash? Never done before..

If the roof frame is damaged it should be fixable.. its the kmiddle frame you dont want to bent.. even the front frame is fixable but expensive. Any pics? If u part it .. post it here. Alot of us are looking for spare parts.

Take it to a body shop to see if the frame is worth straightening. As for the head gasket, thats a good reason for a ze swap.

Yes, good point. Something I'm going to have to concider. I still have 3 grand left over, so I have two choices. Repair using money or buy another car using the money. But I don't know which option would be worth doing at the moment

Is it a manual?
How much mileage?
If you choose to part it out you can actually make some bank cause you will find people like me that are in need of swap parts you know... :)

Yes it is a manual, v6, somewhere around 242k miles on it. I will sell the parts if all else fails i.e. nobody calls for the entire car for about a week or so. Hope you're still looking if nobody calls.

I will bid on the front lip!

All I need is some of the swap parts from your MX3 except for the tranny
