does a early MX3 work with BPT ecu and harness, or do i have to find a 323 GSX

you can use the early 1.6L VAF but it will rob your power. your best bet is to use the VAF off of a 2nd Gen N/A RX7. its the biggest of VAF's so it flows nicely. reportedly it will have a 5hp gain in power. and you will have to pop the top of the VAF off and adjust it alittle for the airflow to get it perfect. but just make shure you mark it before you start tunning it so you can always go back to where you started from. i think there is a How To on Club Protege Forum on tunning your VAF.

i was running a 92 harness on my 95 for several years. you shouldent have any problem swaping everything over.
