I havent burned DVD movies in ages, but i used to use the following:

AnyDVD (just make sure its up to date)
CloneDVD
DVD-Shrink

I never ran into problems unless the movie i was trying to burn was brand new, and the software was out of date.

Probaly just have to wait for a new update, or update your current software.

if you want something really easy to burn with use, DVD X Copy Xpress, really easy,,, click once to copy, then wait about 20 mins, then put in blank dvd, push the button once more, wait about 10 minutes, DING , movie is done

Man, I JUST got a program last night because I never used to copy dvds before. I used dvd shrink and it is AWESOME! The program is only like 500k and you can decide to just have the movie, or remove the menus and basically have what you want on the disc. I copied Cars and it works really good. You really cant notice the quality difference or anything. dvd shrink is awesome..

if you do just the movie it is way better quality. you will notice quality difference from the original to burned copy on pretty much anything 42" and up. i still but movies i like but copy almost everthing else just in case i ever want to watch it again.

I just use Clone DVD & AnyDVD to make my backups. This combo hasnt failed me yet.. but then I am not copying hundreds of movies either.
