Just wondering, how many of you that has the KLZE is running with synthetic oil? Because I don't have the guide/manual for the KLZE, I'm wondering if it's a recommended oil or if I should just use the "dino" oil.

i use castrol gtx 10w30
i put over 40000 kms of me beatin the hell outta it in a little of a year of me .....just pulled a 14.6 @ 153.4 kp/h last night

My last ZE I used Royal Purple 5w30. The new one I am using Castrol Syntec 5w50

Been using Synthetic since we did the swap over 3 years ago. Using QuakerState 5w40

I thought Castrol and Quaker and even Mobil were looked down upon when it comes to synth oil? I guess using Mobil isn't so bad then.
Maybe I could save money with Castrol

Hmm, from what I've heard the oils are not bad, it is the filters that they make that are not the "best". I use Mobile 10w30 syn. in all my cars.

actually its just mobil, and quaker. most of mobil ones oils are up there with amsoil

Mobile 1 5w30 or 10w30 depending on the car for all my cars!

I use cheap filters but never a fram filter (junk).

Change my oil about every 5000km (first few after switching to synthetic at 3000km just to get the dirt out)

I used mobil 1 full syn 5w 30 (and mobil 1 filters) for 3 years but finally read that castrol gtx regular oil was almost just as good if not better! however the mobil 1 extended performance ranks right below amsoil...

then of course I read about amsoil and I have been using it for about 6 months now in both my cars (5w 30 and amsoil filters). I have noticed that they burn much less oil now and I have seen slight improvements in gas mileage...
