So how did you guys fit it in with no clearance? I mounted my TB upside down (so my tb isnt getting coolant flowed through it). I had to lengthen the IAC & TPS wires aswell.
Does this look retarded?

I will give you some tips here. First off, turn your TB back, that is retarded.
You will want to possibly use the TB linkage from your K8 TB (the round one) and cut off the bottom bolt. You many need to also grind down the bottom right side of the TB so it clears the Master Cylinder there. I have also heard of some people using a mx6 master cyclinder as it is abit smaller? You will also need to relocate the battery. Here is a small write up on this process:

Scroll down to MX3 GSR for Dummies post.
If you want, just use the k8 tb and IM for now and sell (or trade) the straight neck on Probetalk or MX6.com and then purchase a Curved neck, there is lots out there and it will be less of a hassle plus you do not need to relocate the battery. That is what is best to do IMO

Thanks- that was a good link... They talked about the dif ZE's working better with some IM's. My ZE came with a "short neck" im like the one a KL-DE probe has (but motor stamped kl131 a1 / kl31 101) so using the straight neck am i going to lose power? I got the impression that some im's work better on other ze's. I have 2 ZE's one went boom so i bought a new one never bothered to find out what was wrong with the old one.
I am gonna try an mx-6 brake resivoir & grinding the TB if i have to thats all there is to it- my "short neck" has no vris's on it or anything & i don't wanna go through the hassle of buying new shat to put on it. My battery is already located in the hatch & CAI so i don't need to worry about intake hoses clearance issues. I'll put some pics up when i'm done.

That brake fluid resivoir does not look very safe up where it is, does it work well for you?

yes, but the other big factor is what i have posted whenever someone asks how to do it. modifying the engine mounts so the engine is offset more.
btw, mx6, 626 and probes have much larger master cylinder designs. the mastercylinder is about 3-4 inches longer than the mx3 master cylinder so switching that out will cause your more problems.

No it's not a mx-6 reservoir, it's just 2 small reservoir which they uses on motor bikes
We cutted the stock reservoir til about 2 cm, we fill it with hard plastic and connect 2 rubber host to both small reservoir, it's works very good though.
