So I did an auto to manual and ze swap I also had put on an aluminum braided fuel line hose. Apparantly it was only for carborated cars

WHOMPF!!!!!!!! Thankfully there was a fire department right across the street from the gas station i was at when it happened.
So I tried cleaning up all the fire extinguisher powder left from the fire department, and took off the intake manifold to have some more room to work with to replace the burned parts.
Here's a couple pic of the aftermath:

take out burnt shyt

cover open hoses and pressure wash the engine bay

put in a new wire harness

90% done
I don't have any new pics but u get the idea. It was such a tough project. I put on a lot of new parts in the process like mx-6 tranny, axles, gaskets, hoses, wires, sensors. It cost alot to fix but it was definately worth it.

wow...sorry to hear about the fire...That really sucks, but glad u've figured it out. and its looking good all cleaned up.I ahve to say the straight neck manifold looks nice in a ZE, you just don't see it too often, but why is the throtle body mounted upside down. i've seen it the other way. is it some odd fitment problem for that?

it was the easiest way to fit in the straight neck. Honestly just flip the tb upside down. The tb has the coolant lines bypassed though.
