would this fit in the stock location?
If not does anyone know of any companies that make plastic fuel cells?

Any fuel cell is made to fit in the trunk or in our case the hatch. There is not a fuel cell that will fit into the stock location. Also, why not get a metal one. I'd be afraid the plastic one would break too easily in a crash.
Plenty of companies make them. A general search should yield a ton of results.

polyurathane doesn't break... you Might puncture it but i doubt it...That's Y plastic cells are used in racing... or plastic encased in metal..
the metal tank is more likely to "break" as metal is brittle...

All the racing cells I've ever seen are metal...
ALMS, SCCA, formula Ford, Star Mazda all use metal cells. I agree that plastics are so advanced now that they could easily be better than a metal one. I just haven't seen many used in a real race car.
