Well, this is how I spent May long weekend - I don't recommend it to anyone, but the car looks great. This is a '93 mx-3 with 245,000 K on it (engine just replaced with a KL). I didn't get any before pictures, but it looked like your run-of-the-mill green mx-3 with a few minor dings and scratches. Some type of flame design is coming for the hood and fenders, but by 3 am Sunday morning I just wanted to clear it and go home. Wheels and rims are next.

Let me know what you think ...

Wow! Very nice man! How long was your car in the shop? Also, have you decided on what type of rim you're going to go with?

Hey. It almost looks like my car now. Is that the stock MX3 blue?

You should get some silver Duplicolor wheel paint and take care of those wheels now.

That was a three day project - took it apart and prepped it Saturday, painted it Sunday, put it back together Monday (about 34 hours total). It is a Chrysler colour, it's a bit brighter than Mazda's blue. The paint and clear were given to me by DuPont.I haven't looked at rims or wheels yet because I know if I see them I will have to buy them . :x
