Newbie question???

I am 16 and just bought a 1996 mazda mx-3 4-cyl and am looking for some ways to better its performance mainly horsepower and speed any help or info would be greatly appreciated

do you got the 1.6 liter? i got a 93 and im having a hard time finding stuff for it. if u want a good web site you should check out corksport.com they have a lot a stuff u can check out

115% of everyone here is going to tell you 3 things

1) read the faq's
2) use the search function, search for BP swap or BPT swap.
3) dont ask really vague questions, or else you will get really vague answers.


as for adding power, your going to have to spend money, its not cheep.

Reason why its hard finding stuff for it is because its such a craptacular engine for building power with.

i have a fair bit of money to spend and im just lookin for suggestions on wat i can do and sorry for being vague im kinda new lol

i know i have a crappy engine but im not looking to spend a whole lot of money lol, im just trying to make it my daily driver and one that will last me

i dont mind the engine being crappy i just want a little more power and speed and ya i havent been able to find much stuff either

if a fair bit of money is over 1500 bucks, then do the BPT swap, its 180 hp and is easily do-able.
