Fuel Pressure regulator

Post by ariesdude »

Anyone know if i can replace the stock regulator with a 626 regulator - the stock has two vaccum ports and the 626 regulator has one - so can i cap off one of the lines and still use it?
The reason i am asking - I have a new 626 regulator that i got for free - and my stock one is crapping out i think because it always takes more than 4-5 cranks to start (f/p, filters are new).

It looks kinda like this -
