removing stereo pocket

Anyone know how to properly remove this from the dash?

Take the deck out if you havent already and put your fingers behind each side and push in the tabs and it will pop right out. If you dont want to take the deck out then just like he said pull real hard on each side and will come out aswell.

I'll try taking the deck out first. I'm afraid of breaking it if I try to force it.
