When I drive my mx3 over 4000 rpm it make a sound thats looks like a VTEC , but I don't know what it can be. I have my stock k8 and stock exhaust, headers ALL stock. I heard about the VRIS that open near 4000 rpm, can it be that sound ? of its just a normal sound for a v6 mx3 with the stock exhaust ?

second, my car smell bad ( Exhaust smell ) when I drive, I have no oil on the motor and no gaz or oil on the driveway, so there's no leak. Can it be because I dont have my catalysor ( Spelling ) ?

Check your intake for leaks. Seems like a vacuum leak. ?

Probably have a minute hole some where unnoticeable.

guys I didn't mean that I got a vtec .. I'm not noob enough I just say that the sound, that probably my exhaust, make over 4000 rpm its pretty the same as when a honda hit thaaa VTECCCHHH...

Look at my second question, cuz I very don't know what it could be.

lol what does it smell like....excess fuel(running rich)?....rotten egg(cats clogged)?....sweet smell(burning coolant)?

Mine smells like grilled steak on a summer evening.... just a hint of steak sauce in the air...
