Saturday June 24th, 2006 - 8th Annual MX-3 Meet in Kelowna, BC. We're heading back to Kelowna for our annual meet again. Hope all you can make it out this year. We'll try to set up other activities for anyone heading to Kelowna a few days earlier.

5 pm - Dinner (Location - TBA at a later date)

For those planning to depart from Calgary:

We are planning on leaving early Friday Morning (Jun 23rd around 6:30am) so that we can get to Kelowna at a nice reasonable time and still have most of the day to go and do stuff.

We will sort out accomodations for everyone as time progresses.

Now I just have to figure out how I managed to get that advertisement up on Shaw Cable last year. I can't remember for the life of me.

Just so everyone is aware, I have a catering company setup to serve lunch at the meet. They will arrive around Noon. They will carry a large selection of foods as well as the usual snacks and softdrinks. This should make things easier on everyone since there are not a lot of food places right in the city park area.

We have non-smoking rooms reserved as follows:
- 5 rooms with a Queen bed, fits 2 people, cost C$79.00 per room
- 4 rooms with 2 Queen beds and one Single bed, fits 5 people, cost C$89.00 per room
Currently it is for max of 30 people, I think it would be sufficient.

The reservation is for arrival on Friday, June/23/2006 and departure on Sunday, June/25/2006 as I know some people will get there Friday. Some may get there on Saturday and the Recreation Inn is informed of that, so just book from Saturday to Sunday.

Please all call by no later than
May/31/2006 to book YOUR own room with YOUR own credit card.

Please mention Mx-West when booking to get the Group Rate, as it is the name the reservation is held under.

Please remember that after the cut-off date of May/31/2006 rooms may not be available and the rate may not be our Group Rate. Also, if you cancel your reservation, full rate will be charged with no refund. I used my credit card to guarantee the reservation, so please be ready to pay me back.
