what do you all think about this:

I think it would be cool to see the members of the board have the same decal on the windshield??

The problem between what they did and what you did, is they used a very clean and sleek font that doesnt need any effects to make it stand out. you have 2 fonts along with one being script and 1 being a an agressive font, in other words you have 2 display fonts competeing against each other which is a big no no...

plus you have a graphic with it which doesnt work with the piece at all.

Sorry not trying to tear your design apart but rather give you a little insight on why this design doesnt work. Can anyone guess what i do for a living?

I would recomend doing something similar to the MOCA logo or maybe what Evolve has done, both these logos are very sleek and san serif style font (for those not knowing the term it means your letters do not have little Ends like the points on the M in the previous logo shown).

You gotta keep in mind the colour too. What goes with blue or black mightn't be any good with white, green or red. Thats why we went for white, kept it relatively small, no graphic, and with no "background". The stickers we went for can't be seen from inside of the vehicle either. While they're on the glass, they are behind the black edging around the windscreen.

I would recommend purchasing an MX-3.cm decal from the MX-3.com online store and putting it either on your rear lower window, or on the side of your hatch (near the defroster plug(s).

This is what most people who have supported the website have done.

If you plan on creating this decal for your windshield I hope your plans are to make a single decal for your use only. MX-3.com is owned by myself and you will require my permission to create/sell and distribute MX-3.com products.

Regards,

nothin against whoever designed those for jeff but those from the site for sale are not at all what i would consider appealing.... the fluffy lettering on those will not at all go with the style of the car.... i would buy some if they were a differen't font style.... maybe something closer to the font used for the "MAZDA" badge on the cars up till the mid 90s or so that was a nice font... i had a guy from the club protege forum make me an inverted one once that i put over the 3rd brake light of my protege that said mazda in that font and it looked great with the car...

For the time being, the decals that are in the MX-3.com Online Store are the only ones that I will authorize for MX-3.com.

In order to change the decals/logo styles, it would only make sense to revamp the identity of the website at the same time, and that is not something that I feel needs to happen at this time.

hmm i hope you don't change the site design too much if you do... i rather like the color and design of the site.... i was just hoping for a small sticker using the original mazda font already found on the vehical so that everything will match... but such is life i suppose

Oh OK, maybe I was mistaken in what you were after?

Are you after the Mazda logo in the original font? Or "MX-3.com" in the original Mazda font?
