I saw an ad for this in the performance improvements catalog and thought it was pretty cool. Maybe I could fit a dual ram air system into my car.

I think thats just a waste of money. It's still single pipe of the same size at the end of the intake.

ditto.
It would help in the sense that you have two filters, thus better airflow through them. But that accordian stuff probly completely destroys the flow of air. Then there is the added length of pipe to slow it down. And then how den said. Your putting two pipes into one, all of the same length, which changes the velocity of the air (which is inificient).

this stuff is crap they sell it at pepboys, its not even metal its plastic

plastic is better at insulating then a metal part is, hence colder air. This is why they make stock parts out of plastic and not metal

srry to say but thats not worth the money. if u want a ram air just do what others do put the filter behind the headlight cut out a whole and run piping into that hole it will work just as good looks cleaner and doesnt look ricey..... that set up wont actually get you more power if it does maybe like 1 horse thats not even noticeable......im all for trying things and experimenting but seriously thats not worth it
