Apparently Krazy Kustoms has come out with Body kit peices designed to be ultra flexible. They show a picture on the front page of a front bumper being twisted like a twizzler? anyone have details on these because they're not NEARLY as expensive as Urethane body kits. That's 1 of their advertising points infact. Possibly a great new idea? anyone with further details post it up.

Well from what they say on the site, they're "fiberflex" so I think it's fiberglass possibly using a flexible resin during the fiberglassing process? all it says for details are
Fibrex USA has now released their highly anticipated line of Flex Fiber Composite Body Kits. These body kits offer far superior flexibility and durability over the standard fiberglass body kits on the market. Until now you had to spend over $800 for a high quality urethane body kit to hold up to the bumps and scrapes of daily driving. Now with Flex Fiber Composite products you can get that flexibility and durability at a fraction of the cost of urethane components. Flex Fiber products are also extremely lightweight and repairable if you do damage the part whereas urethane products usually would have to be replaced.
Fiber composite? I'm not quite sure what that means, any help here?

I would imagine if you did that with paint on it would just crack to hell but atleast the body kit would hold up if what they say is true.
And I don't know if your front bumper would move at all when you're doin 120 on the highway from the windforce? not that I would want to go 120 in my car right now...fenders n stuff might go flying everywhere, could get messy

So true. Put the money on suspension, brakes and engine instead.

yeah I like the stock clean look, but the Korksport MS front bumper and side skirts and rear Mudgaurds always were on my list of things that looked really good. Mazdamaniac on cardomain has a nice clean looking mx-3 with those peices on and I love it to death

. I'm sure these kits will interest someone though and possibly help someone in search of a body kit make a final decision, that was my main purpose.
well, and i'm trying to get 30 posts so i can finally get some parts for my mx

I guess noone really has any info on them. I figured atleast SOMEONE would know something about this *flex fiber* material in terms of durablity and Quality. Has anyone here ever ordered from Krazy Kustoms before? are they pretty Trustworthy?
