TEMURATURE GAUGE PROBLEMS PLEAS HELP

when im driving and i hit about 3 thousand rpm my temp needle drops to cold and the goes back to normal wne i let off the gas or shift gears does any one know what the problem is i have already changed my thermastat please help

WHY ARE YOU YELLING?

actually, i dont know why it would do that, but my guess would be a bad connection somewhere. probably going into the water temp sensor, located in the thermostat housing. or it could be the sensor its self

chec the connection where wire plugs to sending unit.. something is making poor contact

still could be a bad thermostat, or like stated above could be the sending unit or connection.

i replaced my thermostat in my escort GT twice before it worked. i also had to replace the thermostat in my MX3. it is a common thing to fail and sometimes are defective right out of the box, good thing they are easy to replace (at least when it isn't really cold outside).
