So here is the problem, as soon as the weather gets cold, my breaks go spongy....as soon as the weather warms up again, bingo I have breaks again.....when the weather is cold, I can put my break pedal to the floor, if I push hard enough I can get the front breaks to lock but thats about it.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Having the same problem.
Last winter some of my brake fluid went away (sorry, bad english in lack of better words), and that same thing happened this winter too. Very sluggish brakes indeed.

I havnt had this happen in my MX but my other car does the same thing.
I can push the peddle but the breaks do nothing till right before they hit the floor then they're stiff but if i keep pushing the frounts lock up. I thought my lines seezed thismorning but i let the car run for idle for an hour pumping the pedel every 10-15 minutes and they started to get better.
My best guess is air in the line letting things freeze up... but i dont know if that possible. I know thats how my gas line froze up in the mx last winter.

First thing I would do is change/flush the brake fluid. Brake fluid is hydroscopic, so the chance of moisture in the lines is very possible. Another thing to check out as general maintanence, would be the calipers sliders.

yep, could be freezing... I have the same thing. Every winter, I loose fluid, but it isnt leaking anywhere... maybe too many e-brake turns in the snow
