Anyone know a decent mechanic in Ireland?

Lads, I'm getting my car serviced on Monday at a Mazda dealer in Ennis, Co. Clare. Obviously I'll need to print my own money to afford the bill 
, but I need to get this service done.
Does anyone know of reputable/decent/non-cowboy mechanic or independant garage in the Dublin, Clare or Limerick areas?
I'd like to get the V6 looked at by someone who know's what they are doing, not the usual "fix the Massey with a sledgehammer" outfit!
Also does anyone know a good source of parts? Ireland finally has a Halfords, but they never have the plugs, fliters etc. in stock...
