ever since my ze swap if i make sharp or hard left turns i can feel the cv axle start to bind. at first i just put in a smaller bolt on the upper strut hole to pull out the camber but im going through tire quickly that way.
i have replaces: struts, upper strut mounts, upper strut thrust washers, ball joints, outer tie rod ends, sway bar end links, control arm bushings, wheel bearings.
any ideas?
or to those who have used a protege axle because it is about 1/2" shorter than ours, what year and model protege?
thank you
Dan

I uses stock MX axles and never had a problem. Are you sure the axles are tight in the tranny? They can be loose and not leak. They will make a binding noise when loose. Make sure the circlip is notching into the tranny.

As for the tires, get a freekin alignment!!!

i know about the alignment but the shop closes when i get out of work so i havent gotten around to that, as for the axles there in the trans, in fact the drivers side wont come out, i had a shop try to get it out using a lift and a 5ft crow bar and id wouldnt budge. (this was after the problem had been happening for a bit.
should i try raxles maybe or dealership ones??
