Finally got my bushings from SRD today(after almost 3 weeks, but thats what i get for living in the middle of the ocean) and had a chance to install the third link bronze oil kit. I gotta tell ya just this made a huge difference in the firmness of my shifts. As advertised i felt a little more engine vibe throught the shifter but its a worthwhile exchange for the firmer shifts.
I also got the the nycast bushing for the linkage but i found that the nut that i need to remove(the one threaded onto the tranny, the name ecapes me right now) is torqued down like Samson assembled the linkage. Any suggestions on how to get a straighter shot at the nut, as in not around the exhaust? Or do i have to remove the header so i can get to the nut? BTW i tried WD-40 with no luck on breaking loose the nut, possibly seized.
O yeah, more good news, i found my drivers side CV boot is ripped =(
One last thing, i lub SRD! Their parts kick a--..
That is all =)
