MX3 OBDII Setup

Hi guys,

Ive been searching alot, but so far, i couldn't see anyone who has used/ recommended this setup sucessful.

First of, my car is 1995 and only has 2 sensors on the coolant tube thing (so i assume its an OBDII).

I'm getting a KLZE engine in 3 weeks, and a KLZE ECU of a late model JDM MX-6 and KLZE wiring loom to suit the ECU as well.

It seems that (correct me if i'm wrong) i would be able to just swap the wiring loom, ECU, and engine into my mx-3; reusing my K8 alternator, reusing my K8 VAF and dumping the EGR.

This would mean that i'll have the full 200hp of the KLZE, but also means that i would have my fan running all the time because of a missing sensor which causes it to go to "safe mode". To counteract this problem, i would have to get some "aftermarket fan switch" or something similar.

I'm interested to know of any setups to counteract this fan problem.

Please correct me if i got any part of the post wrong, thats all i could gather from doing the searches...

ps: obviously it would be alot easier to just reuse the K8 ECU & Wiring loom and KLDE VAF, however.. that kinda kills away the some power and i reckon i would still have the fan problem.

Look forward to some replies.

Check under your dash for a diagnostic connector if there is one present it's OBDII. As for the 2 coolant sensors you can do one of 2 things: Take the whole filler neck assembly off your k8 and put it on your ZE or take the one temp sensor that your missing off you k8, drill and tap a hole on aproximatly the same spot on your ZE. then youll have 2 temp sensors and you fan will exactly as it did b4 you swaped

Rephrasing question:

Will the following work?
KLZE + JDM MX-6 ECU and Wiring Loom + Coolant thing with 2 coolant sensors
