i am trying to find out what the best fuel managment system would be for a klze i am planning on getting the new turbo kit for it. my friends has an safc but i dont know if that would work with the klze. i know you like the megasquirt i was wondering if you could hook it up to something besides a lap top like in this set up by turboxs http://www.gearlive.com/index.php/news/ ... _02160335/. i was looking at some of the pics of a megasquirt setup does it display all the gauges you would need. cause if it does i would save money a boost gauge and air/fuel etc.

you can have a boost gauge on your lap top if you want AND a A/F gauge too. Though you'd want to invest in a wideband for more accurate readings and for tuning.

as for your other questions, idk

i dont think manufacturers make specific widebands for specific cars but i could be wrong but u can buy ones from aem, innovate etc. just search places for a plain and simple wideband gauge.

I know SAFC's work with 4 cyl engines, and I know they have setups for V6's. Get one and set it up. Should work fine. It has the settings for a v6 with the Hotwire sensor.

It really works on a V6, but at wot it relies on the factory pretuned closed loop fuel program. If you want to operate bigger injectors ona turbocharged engine, you don't want to add all your fuel management to the unit, you should aid it with a Afpr to lower the fuel pressure or Fmu to raise it up. If not it will have a big bog when you press the gas pedal hard. If you don't want this to happen you must do the MAP mod, which allows the Safc to read boost instead of throttle per cent. This is the best way to use it. Basically you wire a Map where the Throttle sensor of the S/afc was. If someone is interested I have the conexion pins for the V6 and two years of experience on it. I know a megasquirt is finer, but the looks of the unit and the easy to tune is incredible!!
