I disconnected my mass airflow sensor & when i re-connected it my car would not start. So i dis-connected it & my car started up & the idle is crazy, car will even die at times? Do I need to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor or are there any potential fixes?

Disconnect your battery. Make sure the connection is OK. Reconnect the battery. Try it then...
