I am doing a bp engine swap and was wondering if this will automatically move me to the street modified class in the SCCA or if i can still be in a lower class and work my way up?

I don't know how the SCCA works. But when I registered for SOLO 1 in Ontario they had to add ZE'd MX3 to the classification spreadsheet. It's a horspower to weight ratio. I ended up in the same starting class as Integra Type R's.

For SCCA you'd end up in SM. You're class is HS.
I really like NASA more, however. If you want your NASA classing, just post all of your modifications from stock.
