Well just had flat tyre on the front, luckily it was only 2 mins down road from me but anyhow, did take a while !!
Problem number 1; couldnt find the jack anywhere, dont know where thay are usually kept on the mx
So went back home luckily ive got a two ton trolley jack in shed
Problem number 2; as ive lowered car i was about 20mm short of getting the jack under car!! So i had to wait for stranger to walk by so they could push jack under while i lifted front wing !!!!
Anyhow changed tyre for the space saving wheel which looks ummm... pretty. Then had to wait for another stranger to get jack off car again
In all took about 40mins for one wheel !!,
Any ideas about jacks for lowered cars?? a bottle jack would definately not fit, im on standard 15" rims at the moment so theres only 12.5cm from car to ground

I definetly know that jacks for lowered cars exist, I saw one on a tuner show here in the States a few months ago .

I use the stock jack stored in the back of the car to lift one side so i can get my floor jack under the front. Same with letting the car back down

You can buy low profile trolley jacks - they're usually aluminium so are very light too. They're used a lot in racing. Unfortunately though they're still too big to cart around in the car to be used for breakdown purposes.

Many thanks for your replys, good to know that such a thing does exist so I shall definately be looking it. I was hoping it would fit in the boot to carry around but never mind  . Cheers guys!! Car still looks rocking on its space saving cycle wheel !!
