New MX3 What mods should I do?

OK everyone. I just bought my car and I am in love with it but I want more. I have a pretty good condition '92MX-3 GS that I just bought yesterday. I need a new center console because the top is broken off of mine. The door seat belt on the passenger side doesn't work. I need to gas up my air conditiner and that's about it on the inside. On the outside I have some minor paint damage and two small dents but I do have one problem that I need to look into. When ever I go over a bump I hear a creaking sound. I'm not all that familuar with cars but is it the shocks?

Other then my problems with it what should my first mods be to the car. I am looking for something that I can just get for what I have now and not to expensive. I want something to add a little get up and go in it. Also some suggestions of what to start off with as far as modifying the apperience of the car. Once again something on a small budget. And if possible be specific with the parts instead of just saying "lights". Tell or show me what you like and what you think would look good on it.

Just for a little help (correct me on it if you want) I want to get a black paint job with the metallic chips in it and carry out a white and black dragon theam on the car. That's just what i'm thinking now but you can suggest different color scheams.

well The first thing I can tell you before you get your a-- reamed is use the search function before you ask your questions because the ones you are asking have been covored many times. The first thing I would do if I were you is a cold air intake due a search and you will come up with lots on it. good luck and congrats on the mx-3 and welcom to the bb

1. Air Intake ( I recommend HKS, but most people here do a custom job or the brm intake, which is meant to be pretty good)

2. Tail lights, try ebay.

3. Alloys/Rims, nice set of 17"s will make your ride look a million times better

4. Suspension, not cheap

5. Tail pipe, i used to have a 5" Jap style back end, sounded awsome , but was so loud it was illegal - be careful with ur exhaust as this car has some serious sound issues

Take a look at some of the members cardomain sites, they will probably give you a lot of ideas

Hi!

Welcome in the group! That is one fine car you've bought!

1: Make it function as a daily driver!!

2: CAI (Cold Air Intake) is a relatively cheap mod. There is one that fits 90-93 Acura Integra that will fit ours with a little modification, or a PRM Jetstream Air Intake Filter which cost about 169 USD.

3: Use the search button. There are many similar topics that has already been answered, and I'm sure you will find more info from there!

Again, welcome to the board!! :D

Personally, I think the stock 15" rims on the V6 look a million times better than any aftermaret wheels I've ever seen anyone add to thier MX3's ...... ever.

Which alloys are you talking about?

The newer euro Enkei 5 spoke ones?

or the weird looking ones?

Personally i think they are both horrid,

Actually im not to keen on mine at the moment, but new ones on the way

Basic mods such as an intake and exhaust, you have to get air into and out of the motor..
