I would first like to say hello, but quick question will a exhaust manifold from a the 1.6 miata fit the DOHC versions of our motor? Or do I have to flip it and drill new holes to make it work?
BTW nice site learned alot already.

wont work. Miata is RWD and MX is FWD. OUr header goes down and the Miata header would go to the side.

Yah, like cjthor said. But you could maybe make a kick a-- side exiting exhaust...

I seen both, which is a fine point that been brought to my attention while researching this. It's my fault for not getting specific, I was looking more at the turbo manifolds that go on to the motor. Although I could use a better picture of the flanges to answer my question.

Still won't work. The Miata header had the turbo going up. If you cut a hole in the hood and possibly relocate the radiator it MIGHT work.

so if it was going down then it'll work? If so let me know because I might have found one.

Post a pic. Some of them go down and to the side. If this is the case the turbo will hit the radiator.

I cant tell if the flange points down or to the side. Also note that it is a t25 flange and made for internal wastegates only. This is a cast manifold and will be hard to modify for an external wastegate.

if you are looking for a bolt on turbo manifold why not go for the b6t one

Using the B6T manifold limits your turbo choices.

As far as I read from the rest of the forums they can be hard to get a hold of one, please correct me if I'm wrong but the b6t was only on a limited number of 323s. Well let me ask this do the flanges of the miata motor line up?
