Yes you can turbo a stock engine. Though i wouldnt go to crazy with the amount of Power you want to make.
And remember That tuning the car is just as important as the parts you buy for it.

which stock motor?

i will hopefully be doing this to the k8motor now i know that i have to get all of the internals done and s--- like that but i was thinking like 10-12psi.

Man you Dont need to do the internals for just 10-12 psi.
Look at the honda Boys some of them are making upwards of 400 hp with Stock sleeves. s--- some of them are even making that much power on stock sleeves rods and pistons. The one thing that i do suggest doing if you are going to open it up is atleast freshen it up with some new headgaskets and use arp head bolts main bolts and rod bolts.
Tuning is the most important thing, get a good fuel managment system.
(Megasquirt would be your best bet for price, you can buy them already built on ebay for 300$)

So you are talking about a brand new high flow fuel management systhem right, and that is it it will take a little while until i can get it for one money isa my biggest issue :crying: which suck but that will give me time to tighten all of the loose ends up!

I ran 7-12 psi on a stock 94 B6 engine starting at 100k Ran til 112k without a prob. At 112k it overboosted to 25psi....nuff said. ITS ALL ABOUT TUNING. If you dont have correct fuel pressures, ignition timing, or a list of other things in the right, youre asking for trouble.

well seeing as megasquirt is a DIY Standalone Fuel managment system, i would go with it, i wish i would have known about it before i bought my apexi safc2.
