Thanks and agreed. Been researching it since seeing your post. Perhaps I'll take the knowledge risk and muddle thru it though. Interesting stuff.

i personally like pest patrol lately its been missing stuff but i need to update it, pest patrol actually found spyware in proggies such as spybot lol

if you dont' download your software such as spybot or ad-aware, there are ppl who inject spyware into them. That is probably what it found, was a bad copy of it that you downloaded. Download from download.com and you won't get that problem
