Does anyone have any suggestions for a good sounding exhaust for a 93 GS?

I don't want a ricey, high-pitched sound; I would like a deeper, throaty sound. I also don't want it to be extremely loud. Thanks in advance.

Try a Ractive exhaust. I have it on my 93 auto RS and it produces a very low yet audible rumble! Very nice.

i have a ractive aswell also by changing your air intake you'll get a throthy sound but it does sound a little ricey you can also go with a flowmaster muffler and then add on a bigger tail pipe i had that set up on my escort but i had a 4" camaro pipe sticking out my a-- end sounded like a mustang

I have a reactive on mine and I love the sound. But I had to get a glasspack installed because it had an annoying buzz at 3000rpm. But the glasspack was cheap to buy.

I have brullen and it works really good and has a nice low tone and not to loud, plus its painted black all the way back to my shiny muffler which helps with heat and rust.

Does anyone have the Pacesetter Exhaust system? If so, how does it sound/perform?

I have an arospeed muffler on mine. Sounds really good, espically after i put my CAI on. Roars so much deeper past 5,000!

custom an exhaust.

2.25" (if you have the 1.8v6) with a large canister muffler... the larger in diamater the canister, the lower the tone.

vibrant makes a good muffler

also, so its not soundling like a f---ing ricer honda... add a resonator, a large one, the one on my car is actually for a truck... it keeps the sound low, and not too loud.
