glass sunroof escort?

Ok so i been told by a couple of people that a glass panel from an escort gt from the 90s will fit an mx3..is this true? can anyone confirm?

hmm that it shall be one of my main goals this year.. to get a glass sunroof if this is true. Im going to go look for it today.

alot of the protege LX guys trade in their metal ones for the EGT glass ones.
Mazda probably kept them the same size for cost and simplicity reasons.

Gro Harlem did this conversion and changed it back. He said the seal didn't work right & sides were a couple cm's off.

I got another idea.. how about if I actually CUT the inside and just leave the edges and use plexyglass to fill it in??? sounds like a good or bad idea?

Not to hijack your thread but does anyone know if they made all the GS roofs the same? I have a 95 GS without a sunroof and bought one out of a smashed GS. Would this not fit in? One installer told me no.
