have you checked your catalytic converter ? it may be clogged it would cause your car to stall out on you ? only a suggestion. . . or fuel filter

i'm 100% sure it isn't the cat cause my exhaust broke off at the flex pipe *see first post* and it isn't the fuel filter cuase i put a new one on around 2 weeks ago... but it could be the lack of a cat/exhaust... that is what i'm hoping... i guess i'll know friday when they put my new exhaust on

My car was doing the EXACT same thing for a couple of weeks about a month ago. I did whole Seafoam and Deep Creep treatment, and it never happened again since. I'm not sure something got cleaned up inside and fixed the problem or not. I bought a can of Deep Creep from O'Reiley's, sprayed a half can to the throttle body/blade and drove around. Next day I used the rest and did the same thing. It's only $5.99 or something like that, so you might want to give it a try. You will see a lot of smoke and it looks like it's cleaning something. I also add a can to the gas tank. Right before oil change, I put it in crank case and drove around too. Never heard a bad thing about Seafoam product, so it won't cause any harm. Let me know if you find anything.

when you did this did you spray it just on the butterfly? or did you open it up and spray it inside the throttle body? I finally got the car back from the exhaust shop yesterday and it is still doing it today.. oh by the way got a 2.25" alluminum exhaust from the pre-cat back
