how hard is it to do a sex change from a mazda to an acura? lol, jk but really, r the mx-3 and rsx close fitment? like did the bumper etc. almost line up perfectly or was there a ton of custom work... they do seem to be pretty close in size/contours to me, but then again looks can be very deceptive...
interestingly enough, the 2005 rsx's have headlights a lot more similar to the mx-3 than the ones u chose, but that seems almost a moot point in your case, because u used the rsx bumper and what looks to be an rsx hood instead of fitting your rsx headlight's to the mx-3 body...

coming along nicely! I was wondering what was up w/ this conversion. Haven't seen you on here lately, thanks for the update. Then again if I had an 02 WRX, I wouldn't be workin on the mx-3 as much either!

there was a lot of cutting off the front to make everything fit just right, car is probably about 30 pounds lighter now with all of the cutting involved. The RSX is about 3 to 4 inches wider than the MX-3's. Front bumper of the RSX still had to be cut and reshaped on the side.
the reason ive been working on the WRX is I was the quick on out of the group of guys I run with up here and now that the MX-3 is down for a while the WRX just isn't fast enough. Now everyone around here has a WRX and they are modded more than mine and faster so I'm building both the WRX and MX-3 at the same time. NEED TO WIN THE LOTTO!!!

there are no side skirts on the mx yet haven't fully decided on which ones i want or to have one modified to to fit the mx. the kmax rear bumper does make the back of the mx look wider
